New title screen!

Story, part 1 -- notice the lowercase font!

Story, part 2.

New Character Select screen!

World 1-1 ...

The new 1-1 beginning!

Those enemies look familiar ...

Sub-space ... it isn't safe anymore when you bring a key there!

Toad's abilities have been changed! Now, he runs faster, he jumps higher (when he runs), he picks up things even faster than before, but he's harder to control. The other characters have been changed, too!

Here you can see another "new" enemy ...

Take the key through the level!

Help, I'm surrounded by 5 Phantos!

Pipes? Another thing that came from other Mario games ...

Blue mushroom-shaped jar, five star coins, a flying cheep-cheep, some sand to dig ... not the thing you could expect in the original SMB2.

Another blue mushroom-shaped jar, this time with 3 stars, a stopwatch, and spikes ...

Haha, Birdo (or whatever it is now), I'll get you! Here I got through 1-1 ... 1 done, 19 to go!

New Bonus Chance screen!

Put those blocks on trees and clouds ...

What are all those mushroom boxes for?

Help! I'm surrounded again!

Many, many doors to sub-space ...

I like that place ... the way I made it ... although it's an hard part of the level.

Many, many, many POW blocks! BOOM!

Little mushrooms and star coins for you ...

And here I got through 1-2 ...

Hmm ... how can I get up there?

Nice-looking place ...

Where's the key to that door?

Two doors to sub-space? Yes, but there's a reason for that ...

Probably the hardest part of the level, or the second hardest ...

More block madness!

New, harder Mouser boss room. Mouser throws his bombs farther! World 1 is done, World 2 is next ...

Now going into World 2 ...

Where am I? That looks like a ... dark entrance.

Small, lonely island ...

How can I jump over that?

Sinking in quicksand, getting hit by Bob-Ombs ... oh, the pyramid is over there!

Hurry up to the mushroom!

Inside the pyramid ... now here's a ... spiky place.

You'll get to like that place ...

Eveything you wouldn't expect to find in a jar.

A rocket ... now where does it go?

See that locked door? There's an ultra-secret room at the other side. Bringing the key there is a big challenge, though ... good luck if you try.

Whew ... 2-1 was big. See if you can get past that hard boss room ...

Boom! Get out of my way!

Telling what happens next would spoil the surprise ...

Climb the ropes, and avoid getting hit, or falling!

Those clouds are there for a reason ...

More rope climbing ... although this time it's harder!

What are whale spouts doing here?

There are a lot of star coins and stars to get in this hidden room ...

Going to 2-3, after defeating the grey Birdo that was there ...

Looks like it's getting harder.

Try to solve the puzzle ...

Climbing the long, long vine ...

Albatoss, bring me to the other side of the river!

This place looks really lonely ...

It's like a cage ... or something.

Oh! Look below, it's the pyramid!

Uh ... where am I?

The new, hard Tryclyde room. Be careful not to waste too many blocks! World 2 ends here ...

World 3 now!

Bright and happy level start ... or something.

What's behind that door?

Another lonely place in subspace ...

Get ready to be chased!

Watch out where you're falling!

The longest (and hardest) part of 3-1 starts here.

Rope climbing, and spikes.

Clear up the way to the top!

Enemies blocking the road again ...

Angry Albatosses.

More enemy avoiding to do here.

Dark boss room filled with hungry enemies ...

Beat him or sneak past him!

... then you're on your way to 3-2!
